A website audit, not a vague opinion

A FlowConverts website audit is a proper review by real people. We look at your site the way a buyer does, score it across the five CRISP dimensions and tell you what to fix first, in what order and why. You get a priority list, not two hundred warnings.

  • A review across all five CRISP dimensions
  • Findings checked against your analytics and goals
  • Fixes ranked by likely impact on enquiries
  • A walkthrough call in plain English
  • Findings you can hand to anyone
Let's talk

(The problem)

You don't need more opinions. You need a priority list.

Most owners already suspect something is off. Enquiries are quieter than the work deserves, or the site no longer looks like the business behind it.

The trouble is that feedback arrives as taste. A colleague hates the colours. An agency pitches a full redesign. A plugin flags two hundred warnings. None of it tells you which problem is actually costing you enquiries.

Usual suspects: visitors can't tell what you do in a few seconds. Good proof sits where nobody looks. The form asks too much. The site is slow or awkward on a phone.

(What you get)

Five dimensions, weighted equally, every time

(01)

Contextual

Can a visitor tell what you do, who it's for and what to do next? This is where vague headlines and in-house jargon show up.

(02)

Responsive

Speed and smoothness on every device, phones included. Heavy pages and broken layouts lose people before they reach the point.

(03)

Intelligent

Does the site guide people to the right service, or leave them to decode a menu built around your org chart?

(04)

Seamless

How much friction sits between interest and an enquiry. Long forms and hidden contact routes land here.

(05)

Powerful

Does the site feel credible to a careful buyer, with proof placed where they make the decision?

(Is it for you?)

Who an audit is for

(A good fit)

  • Your website should be bringing in enquiries, consultations or quote requests.
  • Your reputation is stronger than your website suggests.
  • Enquiries have gone quiet and you can't tell why.
  • You're weighing up a redesign and want evidence before you spend.
  • You want a second opinion on another supplier's proposal.

(Probably not)

  • You run a big online shop with thousands of product pages.
  • You need a formal accessibility conformance report or a security test.
  • You want a guaranteed ranking, traffic or revenue figure.
  • The site launches next week and nothing can change before then.

(How it works)

From URL to a clear decision

  1. (01)

    Self-check (optional)

Want a rough feel first? Take the free CRISP self-check. Five questions, your own answers, no automated score pretending to know your business.

  2. (02)

    Scope call

A short call about your audience, offer and goals. We agree what the audit covers and what it costs before anything starts.

  3. (03)

    The audit

We go through the site page by page against the five CRISP dimensions, using your analytics where you give us access.

  4. (04)

    Walkthrough

We talk you through the findings and the ranked fixes. Then you choose: do it yourself, hand it to your supplier, or ask us to scope the work.

(Cost)

What an audit costs

Audits are priced per scope, because a five-page site and a fifty-page one are different jobs. You get the price in writing before we start.

The free bit is the CRISP self-check: five questions you answer yourself for a rough read across all five dimensions. It's honest about being self-reported.

If you want the fixes made afterwards, one-off projects typically run 2 to 8 weeks and are priced per scope. Ongoing work runs as a 3-month partnership at £4,500 a month.

(FAQ)

Good to know

How much does a website audit cost?

It depends on the size of the site and how deep you want us to go, so we price each audit per scope. You see the price, what's included and what isn't before you commit. If you just want a rough feel first, the CRISP self-check is free. It's five questions you answer yourself, and it gives you a starting point for the conversation.

How long does a website audit take?

The timing depends on the number of pages, the journeys involved and whether we have analytics access. We agree the timing on the scope call so you know when to expect findings. The walkthrough call afterwards is short and focused on the fixes that matter most, not a tour of every small issue.

We've been burnt by an agency audit before. Why is this different?

Plenty of audits exist to sell a redesign, so everything looks broken. Ours scores the same five dimensions every time and ranks what to fix first. You can take the findings to anyone. If the evidence says your site only needs two small changes, that's exactly what we'll tell you, even if it means we don't get the follow-on work.

Is the free CRISP self-check the same as an audit?

No. The self-check is five questions you answer about your own site. It's useful for spotting where to look, but it's self-reported and can't see your pages, analytics or buyers. The audit is done by us, page by page, checked against your data and goals. Think of the self-check as a warm-up and the audit as the real thing.

Will you guarantee results from the audit?

No. An audit finds problems and ranks them. It can't promise more enquiries, rankings or revenue, and anyone who guarantees those from an audit is guessing. What we do promise is a consistent method, a clear reason for every finding and an honest view on whether fixing each issue is actually worth the money for your business.

Who owns the audit findings?

You do. The findings are yours to use however you like. Fix things yourself, hand them to your in-house team or pass them to your current web supplier. There's no requirement to use us for the fixes. The audit stands on its own, and we'd rather you act on it than leave it sitting in a folder somewhere.

What happens after the audit?

You decide. Use the findings yourself, give them to an existing supplier, or ask us to scope the priority work. If we do it, it's usually a focused rebuild of the pages and journeys the audit flagged, with scope, exclusions and price agreed in writing first. There's no obligation to buy anything else from us once the audit is delivered.
