Straight answers.
FlowConverts designs and builds websites and web apps for a fixed monthly price or a one-off project fee. Marketing sites usually take 2 to 4 weeks, app MVPs 6 to 12. You own everything we build. We won't guarantee leads or rankings, but we'll show you exactly what we're fixing and why.
(Working together)
How it works.
How does a design and development partnership work?
You get a senior design and development team on a fixed monthly price. We work through your requests one at a time, ship in weekly slices, and you can see progress from week one. There are no hourly rates and no surprise invoices, and you can pause or stop at the end of any month. It suits teams with a steady stream of site and app work.
Do you build websites, apps, or both?
Both. We design and build marketing websites that convert, and we design and build web apps: internal tools, customer portals, dashboards and SaaS products. Plenty of clients start with a website and grow into app work as the business scales, which is handy because we already know how everything fits together and nobody has to start from scratch.
Why Webflow, and when do you custom-code?
Webflow is great for marketing sites: quick to launch, easy for your team to edit and strong for SEO. When a project needs accounts, data, integrations or complex logic, we custom-code it with modern frameworks instead. We'll recommend the right tool for the job in plain English before anything is built, and explain the trade-offs so you can make the call.
How long does a typical project take?
A marketing website usually takes 2 to 4 weeks. An app MVP or customer portal usually takes 6 to 12 weeks, depending on scope. We agree the timeline before we start and show working progress every week, so you're never guessing where things stand. The slowest part is often content and sign-off, so we plan review points around your diary.
What happens after launch?
Launch is the start, not the end. We offer ongoing partnerships covering improvements, new features, SEO and measurement, so your website or app keeps getting better. You own everything we build for you, including the code and the accounts. If you'd rather run it yourselves, you get a handover that says what was checked and how it all works.
(Audits)
Checking your current site.
What is the CRISP self-check?
It's a free, five-question check you answer about your own site, one question per CRISP dimension: clarity, speed, structure, friction and trust. It takes a couple of minutes and gives you a rough read on where to look first. It's only as accurate as your answers, and most people rate their own site a bit higher than an outside reviewer would. Treat it as a starting point.
What's the difference between the self-check and a website audit?
The self-check is you, answering five questions about your own site. A website audit is us, actually going through your site page by page against the CRISP method, with your goals, audience and analytics in mind. It's a paid service, it's done by people rather than a script, and you get ranked priorities you can act on yourself or give to whoever builds your site.
Do I have to use FlowConverts for the fixes?
No. Take the findings and fix them yourself, hand them to your existing team or supplier, or ask us to scope the work. The audit stands on its own and comes with no obligation. If your current supplier is doing good work, we'll say so. We'd rather you fix the right things with someone else than the wrong things with us.
Does every website need a complete rebuild?
No, and anyone who says yes before looking is guessing. Some sites only need targeted changes to copy, proof, navigation, forms or technical setup. Our process is designed to tell a focused fix apart from a bigger rebuild, and we'll recommend the smallest piece of work that solves the real problem. Sometimes that's a week, not a whole project.
(Expectations)
What we will and won't promise.
How much does a website or app cost?
A partnership costs £4,500 a month on a 3-month term or £3,500 a month on a 6-month term. One-off projects start at £10,000. The final figure depends on pages, content, journeys, integrations and migration. The pricing page explains what moves the number, and you always see a written scope and price before you commit to anything at all.
Can you guarantee more leads or higher rankings?
No. Nobody honest can, and you should be wary of anyone who does. What we can do is show you the specific friction we've found, the evidence behind each recommendation and how we'll measure whether the change worked. You get a clear plan and real measurement, not a forecast dressed up as a promise. Results depend on your offer and market too.
Will you publish my project as a case study?
Only with your permission and only with information we've checked. We never publish made-up or illustrative results as if they came from a real project. If you'd rather keep the work private, that's fine and it won't change how we treat the project. Some of our best work sits behind logins nobody outside the client will ever see.
Do you work with businesses outside Newcastle?
Yes. We're based in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, and work with businesses across the UK. Most projects run remotely with weekly progress, shared files and direct Slack access, so distance doesn't slow anything down. If you're local and fancy meeting in person, we're happy to put the kettle on. Either way you deal with Laith and Fabian directly.
