SEO and AI search, minus the nonsense
FlowConverts does SEO and AI search work for UK service businesses. We fix what stops search engines understanding your site, give each valuable search a page that deserves to rank, and make your content easy for AI answer engines like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews to read and quote. No ranking promises.
- Technical audit ranked by impact
- Search intent map, one page per intent
- Service and industry page improvements
- AI search (GEO) readiness checks
- Measurement tied to enquiries
(The problem)
You don't need more pages. You need the right ones.
Most small business sites that struggle in search aren't short of content. They have pages search engines can't reach, several pages fighting over the same query, and no page that properly answers what buyers actually search for.
Publishing more on top of that just makes the pile bigger.
Common signs: your main service barely shows for the searches that describe it. Blog posts get visits but never lead to a service page. An old redesign left broken redirects behind. AI answers mention competitors when someone asks about your field.
(What you get)
What the work covers
(01)
Crawl and index foundations
Indexability, canonicals, sitemaps, redirects, metadata, structured data and speed issues, found and fixed.
(02)
Keyword and page mapping
Each valuable search gets one destination, so pages stop competing and every service has a page built to be found.
(03)
Useful topical coverage
Service, industry and guide content planned around real buyer questions, with internal links that lead towards an enquiry.
(04)
AI search readiness
Answer-first pages, sections that make sense on their own, accurate structured data, consistent business details and AI crawlers let in, not blocked.
(05)
Measurement tied to enquiries
Search Console and analytics set up to show which queries and pages bring enquiries, not just impressions.
(Is it for you?)
SEO rewards patience and a site worth ranking
(A good fit)
- Buyers search for what you offer and you rarely show up.
- Your site has got messy after years of additions or a redesign.
- You have real expertise but it isn't written down anywhere useful.
- You want visibility in search and AI answers without spammy tactics.
- You can give us Search Console, analytics and a subject expert.
(Probably not)
- You need enquiries next week. Paid campaigns or referrals are faster.
- Visitors already arrive but don't enquire. That's a conversion problem.
- You want guaranteed positions or a set number of backlinks a month.
- You want hundreds of near-identical location pages.
(How it works)
Baseline, fix, strengthen, review
- (01)
Baseline
Record index coverage, target pages, queries, technical issues and the enquiries search brings in today.
- (02)
Fix
Sort crawl, index and redirect problems that hold the whole site back, before touching content.
- (03)
Strengthen
Improve the pages closest to valuable demand, then add content where the intent map shows a real gap.
- (04)
Review
Watch what changes over a sensible period, separate correlation from certainty and pick the next step.
(Cost)
What SEO costs
No package price. Cost depends on the state of the site, the number of pages that matter, the content available and the systems involved.
A defined first phase is usually a one-off project priced per scope. For steady ongoing work, the 3-month partnership is £4,500 a month: senior design and dev, requests one at a time, weekly progress, pause anytime.
Backlink building, digital PR and ongoing publishing are separate decisions. Location pages only follow real demand and genuinely local content.
(FAQ)
Good to know
How much do SEO services cost?
There's no single package price. Cost depends on the state of your website, the number of pages that matter commercially, the content you already have and the systems involved. The scope, deliverables and exclusions are agreed in writing before any paid work starts, so you know what you're getting and what isn't included from the very first day.
How long does SEO take to work?
Technical fixes can be picked up as soon as search engines recrawl the affected pages. Competitive visibility usually builds over months, not weeks. It depends on your competition, your site's history and how quickly changes go live. We set review points in the scope and explain what each one can and can't tell you about progress.
What is AI search optimisation, or GEO?
GEO, or generative engine optimisation, means making your site easy for AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews to read, trust and quote. Google says there are no special requirements beyond good SEO, so foundations come first. On top, we add answer-first structure, accurate structured data, consistent business details and crawler access that isn't blocked.
Do I need an llms.txt file?
Probably not yet. Google hasn't announced support for llms.txt, so we treat it as optional rather than essential. It can be a tidy addition once the basics are sound, but it won't fix pages that are slow, unindexed or vague. Anyone selling it as a secret route into AI answers is overselling something that is still unproven.
Will you guarantee first-page rankings or AI citations?
No. Search engines and AI tools decide what to show, and they keep changing how they decide. Anyone guaranteeing a position or a citation is either guessing or using tactics that can backfire on you. What we commit to is the work in the written scope, done properly, with honest reporting on what changed and what the data shows.
Who owns the content and the accounts?
You do. Your Search Console, analytics and website accounts stay in your name, and we work through access you grant us rather than accounts we control. Ownership of content, design files and code produced during the project is set out in the written scope before work starts, so nothing is left vague when the work wraps up.
